As an audiobook narrator, Ashley has built a particular home in the rich interior lives of Black girls and women — complicated, funny, tender, becoming — across literary fiction, historical fiction, romance, YA, and beyond. Her work has been recognized by AudioFile and featured in projects celebrated by Oprah's Book Club (Kin by Tayari Jones), Reese's Book Club (Redwood Court by DéLana R.A. Dameron), GMA (Immortal Consequences by I.V. Marie), and the Tribeca Festival (Red for Revolution). A four-time NAACP Image Award–winning producer, she has led podcast productions for Spotify, DCP Entertainment, Interval Presents, and Will Packer Media — including We Don’t Always Agree with Ryan and Sterling and Holding Court with Eboni K. Williams. Her short fiction has appeared in midnight & indigo and Obsidian: Literature & Arts in the African Diaspora.
